Orlando R. Murillo graduated from Florida International University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 1997.He then graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2001.

After graduating from law school, Orlando R. Murillo began his career in Coral Gables, Florida working on a variety of civil and criminal matters. Mr. Murillo has extensive experience in family and criminal law as well as Federal civil forfeiture law. After four years in Coral Gables, Mr. Murillo continued his practice of law and over the next four years was heavily involved with personal injury, litigation, and workers' compensation cases.

Orlando is a member of the Florida Bar Association; admitted in 2001. Mr. Murillo is a member of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida; he is also a member of the Dade County Bar Association, as well as the American Bar Association.
