Jesus E. Ravelo
Florida Injury & Workers' Compensation Attorney
Jesus E. Ravelo was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and has resided in
South Florida since 1986. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Ravelo proudly
served in the United States Marine Corps from 1993 through 1999. Throughout
his military career he served our Nation with honor attaining the rank
of Sergeant. Mr. Ravelo was awarded several meritorious citations and
received the distinction of being awarded the Armed Forces Humanitarian
Service Medal.
While serving our Nation he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal
Justice from Florida International University in 1999. Thereafter, he
attended St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami and received his
Juris Doctor degree in 2002. Mr. Ravelo was admitted to the Florida Bar
the same year.
While attending law school he was President of the Entertainment and Sports
Law Society and a member of the Mock Trial Board and competed in trial
competition. Mr. Ravelo interned for the State Attorney's Office in
the Eleventh Judicial Circuit and also clerked for the Honorable Marilyn
Milian, Circuit Court Judge, Eleventh Judicial Circuit, Miami-Dade County.
Since graduating from law school Mr. Ravelo has practiced primarily in
the areas of workers' compensation and personal injury litigation.
During his career Mr. Ravelo has handled numerous workers' compensation
cases through all stages of litigation. It is this wealth of experience
and knowledge that provides him substantial expertise in prosecuting matters
on behalf of our clients. Mr. Ravelo is a member of the Workers' Compensation
Section of the Florida Bar. He is also fluent in Spanish. Mr. Ravelo works
in the firm's Miami office.
Mr. Ravelo is the father of two children. His interests include running,
weight training, mountain biking, watching collegiate and professional
sports and spending time with his family.
