Born in Long Island, New York, and raised in North Miami Beach, Florida, Ms. Abrams was drawn to the legal profession out of a deep appreciation for how law influences every aspect of individual lives and society. With a strong desire to uphold the rule of law and justice, she pursued a career in law to make a meaningful impact.
Ms. Abrams spent over two decades as a judicial law clerk for former U.S. Magistrate Judge Ted E. Bandstra in the Southern District of Florida. In this role, she managed a wide range of civil and criminal cases, gaining extensive experience across various areas of federal court practice. In private practice, she has represented policyholders in property claims related to hurricane disasters and defended personal injury protection claims for a major insurance company. This unique blend of experience on both the plaintiff and defense sides, coupled with a solid background in the judiciary process, has provided her with invaluable skills now applied to workers’ compensation law.
Ms. Abrams approaches each client with patience and understanding. By actively listening and engaging in practical, relatable dialogue, she effectively prepares clients for depositions and gathers necessary discovery information and documents. Outside of her legal career, Dina Abrams enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, taking long walks, and visiting the beach. A passionate sports fan, she can often be found watching or attending Miami Dolphins and University of Miami Hurricanes football games. In her leisure time, she also enjoys playing golf and practicing Pilates.
