IntroductionJose Raul Rivero is a Florida workers’ compensation attorney at Rosenberg & Rosenberg, P.A., where he represents injured workers seeking the benefits and protections they are entitled to under the law. Known for his dedication, thorough preparation, and ability to connect with clients, Jose helps individuals navigate the often challenging Florida workers’ compensation system after workplace accidents and injuries.
Fluent in Spanish and deeply connected to the South Florida community, Jose brings a unique background to his legal practice. At just eight years old, he immigrated to the United States from Cuba with his mother. He grew up in Miami and pursued academic opportunities that took him to Tallahassee and Washington, D.C., eventually graduating magna cum laude from Florida International University’s Honors College. His academic achievements earned him the Dean’s Merit Full Scholarship at the University of Miami School of Law, where he further developed his skills in advocacy and legal analysis.
Before joining Rosenberg & Rosenberg, P.A., Jose gained valuable experience in both criminal defense and prosecution. He represented defendants and the State of Florida in criminal trials, worked on investigations with the Office of the Public Defender in Montgomery County, Maryland, and interned in the Chambers of Judge Jose Martinez in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
While his early career provided him with a strong foundation in trial advocacy and case preparation, Jose found his true calling in representing individuals whose lives have been disrupted by workplace injuries. His experience on both sides of the courtroom allows him to anticipate opposing strategies and develop strong, effective legal arguments for his clients.
At Rosenberg & Rosenberg, P.A., Jose focuses on helping injured workers overcome claim denials, disputes over medical care, and challenges in securing wage-loss benefits. His goal is to ensure that each client fully understands their rights and feels supported throughout the process.
