Our firm is committed to uplifting local Florida communities, especially those heavily impacted by the COVID-19 (or coronavirus) pandemic. That is why Rosenberg & Rosenberg, P.A. is participating in the Pack the Pantry Food Drive, presented by Broward Outreach Centers’ Miami Rescue Mission. The goal of the food drive is to provide more than 250,000 meals to communities in need this fall, including through the “Great Thanksgiving Banquet” and Christmas outreach projects. The attorneys at Rosenberg & Rosenberg, P.A. have been lucky to maintain the practice and keep our doors open during the pandemic and advocate for individuals injured by negligence. We understand that not all businesses and communities can say the same, so our team is pulling together to donate canned and non-perishable goods to this food drive. We fully intend to double our firm’s donation from last year.Broward Outreach Centers has helped homeless people and other South Florida populations in need since 1992. They have been successful in serving more than 1,300 people daily; in 2019 alone, they provided 990,000 meals to those in need. They also offer residential programs, job training, employment opportunities, permanent housing, and more to disadvantaged communities.
To participate in the Pack the Pantry Food Drive, individuals, businesses, schools, organizations, and places of worship can fill out an online form to be provided with donation bags, boxes, and flyers. Then, simply drop off your donation at the nearest Broward Outreach Centers location. The food drive ends Friday, November 13.
